Summit Introduction & Mission

The Terrorism Early Warning Group (TEWG), and our affiliated partners, are pleased to extend an opportunity for discovery during this 8-hour terrorism Summit. Our Understanding the Threat: Implications for Homeland Security summit will provide an interactive milieu for insight and learning.

Our speakers were chosen by the Steering Committee, based on their ability to provide detailed and expert information on probable threat scenarios affecting our homeland. This summit will be no-holds barred and is not for the faint at heart!

The mission of the Terrorism Early Warning Group is to monitor and communicate trends and potentials, which may result in terrorist threats or attack. The early warning element will evaluate open source data and research threat information to guide the Terrorism Oversight Committees planning and training efforts.
