Insight Tech - Gear supports Law Enforcement and displays exciting new technology products at Trexpo East
Londonderry, NH (July 2008) Insight Tech Gear, the world’s most trusted provider of tactical lasers and illuminators to the US military, will display and demonstrate their exciting new XTI Procyon tactical weapon light and the MTM Mini Thermal Monocular products to the law enforcement community at Trexpo East in Chantilly, VA on August 27th and 28th, 2008.
The XTI Procyon (Pro-see-on) named after one of the brightest stars seen in the night sky, features simplified multi-functionality (constant on, momentary on and strobe) and a blinding 125 lumens high output LED. The Procyon incorporates features found in other X-Series Insight Tech-Gear weapon lights and adds industry leading brightness, true ambidextrous operation toggle switches and disorienting strobe effect.
The Mini Thermal Monocular (MTM) features simplified operation in a handheld thermal imager. The MTM has recently been tested and approved for the Commercial Equipment Direct Assistance Program (CEDAP). Additional information is available at www.rkb.us.
This state of the art thermal imaging unit is capable of stationary man-sized target detection up to 400 meters and moving man-sized target detection up to 500 meters( in total darkness).
