National Tactical Officers Association Adds QuikClot 1st Response & QuikClot ACS+ To It's Member Tested & Recommended Database

new-generation hemostatic products for first responders and the military, QuikClot 1st Response™ and QuikClot ACS+™, have been listed in the National Tactical Officers Association (NTOA) Member Tested & Recommended product database. The products were added after a peer review process by the NTOA, a national professional association providing law enforcement information, networking and training.
The NTOA developed its Member Tested & Recommended Program to offer manufacturers of products for law enforcement a process by which their products could be field tested by law enforcement professionals. It also offers law enforcement a database of products that have been demonstrated to be effective. The NTOA Member Tested & Recommended logo may be placed on packaging and marketing materials for products that have passed the review process.

When introduced into a wound, this sponge takes the shape of the injury, conforms to the wound and rapidly stops even severe venous and arterial bleeding. The sponge stays in place and is easily removed in the hospital setting.
