ION Science FirstCheck 6000 Plus Hazmat Kit for TICs and WMD
First Responders with Hazmat responsibilities have found the need to complement the capabilities of their four gas monitors with a PID so as to provide coverage for TICs and other compounds in the range where those chemicals present serious hazards.
ION Science offers a kit which includes a PID with ppb capability and LEL, CO, O2 and H2S gas detection in a hand held survey unit that offers superior performance to typical multigas/PID units and allows detection of those TICs which have thresholds below the detection capabilities of conventional PIDs. The enhanced stability of this ppb PID offers detection capability for some WMD chemical agents. The PID units feature ION Science’s patented Fence Electrode Technology, which virtually eliminates humidity effects.
The Kit includes calibration equipment, a 5 m. extension probe, a cleaning kit, decon bags and spares all in a hard case.
